IPDC administers a number of community development projects for its member governments. Staff apply for and administer grants for housing rehabilitation and replacement through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program and the North Carolina Housing Finance Agency. Staff also administer Community Revitalization grants and Infrastructure Hook-up grants.
When an application is open again for the new grant cycle we will place an ad in the local newspaper and on this website. You may view more program information and income guidelines on <Blank> webpage.

Cleveland County
IPDC on behalf of Cleveland County Scattered Site Housing Program is no longer accepting applications for the 2007 Community Development Block Grant Home Repair Program provided by NC Department of Community Assistance. All proposed units for this project have been previously approved and selected as part of the 2007 CDBG Project.
Cleveland County will have an opportunity to receive additional Housing Repair and Emergency Repair funds in the 2010 Community Development Block Grant funding cycle.
Polk County
IPDC on behalf of PolkCounty Scattered Site Housing Program is no longer accepting applications for the 2008 Community Development Block Grant Home Repair Program provided by NC Department of Community Assistance. All proposed units for this project have been previously approved and selected as part of the 2008 CDBG Project.
McDowell County
Isothermal Planning and Development on behalf of McDowell CountyScattered Site Housing Program is no longer accepting applications for the 2008 Community Development Block Grant Home Repair Program provided through the NC Department of Community Assistance.All proposed units for the project have been previously approved and selected as part of the 2008 CDBG Project.
Rutherford County
Isothermal Planning and Development Commisssion on behalf of RutherfordCounty is no longer accepting applications for the 2009 Community Development Block Grant Scattered Site Housing Project. Rutherford County will have an opportunity to receive additional Housing Repair and Emergency Repair funds in the 2012 Community Development Block Grant Funding Cycle. When the application process is open again for the new grant cycle we will list it on the web page.
