Senior Community Service Employment Program
Isothermal Planning and Development Commission is the subsponsor for this older worker program in Cleveland, McDowell, Polk, and Rutherford Counties. The program provides subsidized part-time employment opportunities and a moderate level of supportive services for persons with low incomes who are 55 years old or older and residents of North Carolina.
Eligibility is based on income over the prior 12 months and must not exceed 125 percent of poverty. Income for all family members is usually counted, and verification is required.
